Men's Soccer - USD vs LMU

USD Toreros vs LMU Lions October 15, 7 PM – Torero Stadium WCC men’s soccer matchup in which the Toreros defeated the Lions 3–0 at home. Cesar Bahena opened the scoring in the 27th minute after a combination play with Iain Wagner and Luca Fava. Wagner doubled the lead early in the second half, stealing possession and finishing with a left-footed strike from outside the box. Bahena sealed the victory in the 80th minute with a calm penalty kick to make it 3–0. LMU struggled to create chances throughout the match, finishing with only three total shots and none on target. The Toreros dominated from start to finish, outshooting the Lions 15 to 3 and recording seven shots on goal. With the win, USD improved to 2–1–1 in conference play and remained unbeaten at home, while LMU dropped to 1–1–2 in the WCC.
