Devin Zachry opened the scoring in the 36th minute after receiving a precise through ball from Josh Martinez and finishing calmly at the near post. Steven Ramirez added two more goals late in the second half, first in the 79th minute after a quick exchange with Taj Eagleston and Iain Wagner, and again in the 85th minute from a cross delivered by Cesar Bahena following another setup from Wagner. The Toreros controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting Seattle U 20 to 8 and holding the visitors to just one shot on target. Their defense remained compact and disciplined, preventing the Redhawks from creating any clear chances. With the win, USD improved to 3–1–1 in WCC play and extended its unbeaten streak at home, while Seattle U fell to 1–2–2 in conference competition.
